Hi Edward
I am still not able to commit the changes. It is still the same minimal
error message:
svn: Übertragen schlug fehl (Details folgen):
svn: Autorisierung schlug fehl
which means:
Lateinische
Umschrift anzeigen
svn: commit
failed (details follow):
svn:
Authorization failed
I generated several keys (and deleted the .ssh/id_rsa.pub file as well
as the whole folder) but still get the same message.
It obvously has to be something with my new computer as I commited the
changes (as you could see) on another computer and it worked fine.
Do you know a trick for my computer or some modules that are necessary
for commiting and might be missing on my one?
Cheers
Michael

Hi,
Could you copy and paste the exact error message? I have had similar
problems before. Maybe the Gna! websites need to be deleted from your
~/.ssh/known_hosts file. If all else fails, we can ask the Gna!
people about the problem. Have you searched for this exact problem in
the Gna! cookbook or the support and bug trackers (from the front page
https://gna.org)?
Regards,
Edward

Hi Edward
I am still not able to commit my changes. After more than one day, I
deleted the old key (and the id_rsa.pub file) and generated a new one.
But this did not help either. Now, more than one day after this, I still
get the same error message.
Is there a module missing on my computer? I googled and found others
having the same problem, but without solution...
Hope you have an idea.
Cheers

Hi,
Sometimes you have to wait quite a while before the SSH key is
recognised. I've had to wait up to 4 hours at times. There's nothing
strange reported on the main Gna! website: http://gna.org/, so I
would guess you just have to wait. If it's been over a day, you may
need to delete ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub, regenerate it, and register it
again. Remember to leave the paraphrase blank.

Edward

Hi Edward
I have a problem committing changes. If I run the command:
$ svn ci -F svnmerge-commit-message.txt
after executing 'svnmerge merge', I get the following error message:
svn: Übertragen schlug fehl (Details folgen):
svn: Autorisierung schlug fehl
which means: transmission failed, authorization failed....
I am working on another laptop, but adapted my ssh key (using 'ssh-keygen')
and registered it on gna.org.
Do you know what the problem is?
Cheers
Michael
