Hi, This is an easy one. What you describe is called teeing (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tee_%28command%29). The output is split into two - one goes to a file, the other to the screen. If you run: $ relax --help you will see that there is a tee option ready for you to use :) Regards, Edward On 29 August 2013 08:41, Troels Emtekær Linnet <tlinnet@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:
Hi. I really like to keep a logfile while running relax. So I initiate relax with: relax_disp relax_1_ini.py -l logfile.txt But while the script is running, the screen does not show anything. And if i try to see the "live" log file with: tail -f logfile.txt Nothing is written. Only when relax is closed, the logfile is written out, and file is closed. Is there a way to circumvent this?
