Hi Ed, I got a similar error after sending my next-to-last message... I'll call the network guy in the research center to see what's the problem... I'll be back with an answer soon, hopefully... Anyway, as the message hasn't appeared at https://mail.gna.org/public/relax-devel/2008-01/threads.html yet, the text I sent was: In this case it should be changed. Only for the call to generic_minimise() should the keyword not be changed. Thanks for making the changes. Thanks ! Séb Edward d'Auvergne wrote: You can if you wish. Note however that it should be preserved in the 'minimise' directory. I will one day soon delete that directory from the relax 1.3 line (because it is now at https://gna.org/projects/minfx/). Therefore all calls to generic_minimise() should keep the print_flag keyword argument for now (so 'print_flag=print_flag' becomes 'print_flag=verbosity'). I will probably change the print_flag arg in the minfx project as well, but not right now. Séb Edward d'Auvergne wrote: Hi, This is a change that's been in my head for quite a number of years. The 'print_flag' corresponds to the quantity of information printed, and so 'verbosity' is a much better description. This is change supposed to be system-wide, but for the consistency testing code it only appears once. It's not used by anything but should probably be changed in the 'calculate' function. Is this change for everywhere or simply in a few special cases like for the minimise() functions ?
