Hi Michael,
This commit is perfect. I would suggest collecting the remnants of
__do_layout() and __set_properties() into a single method which builds
the main window of relaxGUI. This would be separate from the method
which builds the current notebook layout (build_main_window(),
build_notebooks(), and the hardcoded indices).
