Dear Edward,

I think I formulated the first sentences of my reply this morning not very 
well. I just wanted to say
that the least squares formula contains the term 1/sigma^2 not that sigma is 
the square error. In fact as
sigma of any peak intensity/integral I use the error of the peak 
intensity/integral.
