It's a pity that the multi-processor code has not been published yet.
Gary, do you think it would be good to mention it in the introduction?
yes i am quite happy to do that and i think we should push it out into the wild. Unfortunately my time has always seemed to be filled up with things thst pushed the relax work backwards. So a plan
1. lets merge it
2. I will set aside time next wednesday to get it on our cluster and test it
3. I don't think mentioning it in an over arching paper will cause any problems. I think the implementation and speed increases on there own won't push forward an interesting paper (and so could be discussed) , but have some ideas of things we could use it for that would generate interesting results (maybe we should discuss this elsewhere?)

The current version Or maybe even in the main text, if you don't have
an avenue to publish it at the moment? Though it might be difficult
to cleanly integrate. Should I merge this branch back into the main
line and release this code? The branch is up to date and fully
functional, and is ready to be merged at any point.
