Hi,
From experience with the free software directory wiki listing for
relax (http://directory.fsf.org/wiki/Relax), I have an idea for hugely simplifying the script repository for the relax wiki. That is the use of semantic forms: http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Semantic_Forms You can see an example by clicking on "View form" in the fsf directory (http://directory.fsf.org/wiki/Relax). The idea would be to have the following fields: - A field for the script name. - A field for copying and pasting the entire script. - A optional field for a link to the original script, if the script is located online somewhere. - A field for the author name. - A field for the licence. - A field for the year(s). The wiki page for each script in the relax wiki can then be auto-generated from the user input field values. This would make it incredibly easy for a relax user to upload scripts, and would keep the script repository highly consistent. There could even be text examples of copyright notices for the user to copy and paste at the top of the script, for example as is found in many scripts of the sample_scripts directory. On a slightly different subject, is it possible to have URLs for the script pages such as http://wiki.nmr-relax.com/Scripts:modelfree.py, where the Scripts part is a special category (or whatever the mediawiki terminology is for this) and then it is followed by the script name? I.e. a way to organise the script pages and keep them distinct from the other wiki pages. Regards, Edward
