Follow-up Comment #2, sr #3138 (project relax):

Some code will have to shift between functions.  It might also be worth
shifting the different types of interpolation into dedicated functions of the
specific_analyses.relax_disp.disp_data module.  That would simplify the code,
make the logic clearer, and allow the interpolation to be reused between
different functions.
