Hi,

This is ancient functionality which you can probably see has suffered
from bit-rot. There is no code which uses it any more. I used to use
this for model-free optimisation space mapping to swap the x, y and z
axes in the OpenDX plots. This never worked correctly though. As
that code no longer exists, this argument can probably be deleted.

Regards,

Edward

Hi Ed.

According to:
help(dx.map)

Defaults

dx.map(params=None, map_type='Iso3D', spin_id=None, inc=20,
lower=None, upper=None, axis_incs=5,
file_prefix='map', dir='dx', point=None, point_file='point', remap=None)

    remap: A user supplied remapping function. This function will
receive the parameter array and
must return an array of equal length.

In
pipe_control/opendx.py

I cannot see it mapped to something useful?

best
Troels
