[bug #12499] DIFF_MODEL = 'prolate' optimization failure -- October 24, 2008 - 22:33

Follow-up Comment #4, bug #12499 (project relax):

The problem here in not with relax but with minfx.  A insanely  convoluted
space has made caused the backtracking line search to fail!
