Oh, don't use a paraphrase for the SSH key. Just hit enter.

Hi Edward

I have a whole set of problems.

If I try to download the newest branch using ' svn co
svn+ssh://michaelbieri@xxxxxxxxxxx/svn/relax/branches/bieri_gui', I get
the following error message:

Permission denied (publickey).
svn: Network connection was closed inexpectedly (translation from german!!)

Hi,

This is a problem of ssh keys.  See for example
https://gna.org/cookbook/?func=detailitem&item_id=102 for how to set
this up.

During generation of commits:

The svnmerge.py scripts works with the init parameter. I can also
generate commit message using svn ci. By trying to merge the branches
(python svnmerge.py merge), I get the following error message:

svnmerge: "." has local modifications; it must be clean

Do you know what I am doing wrong? I am following the description of
your manual (9.4 ff).

In this case, svnmerge will only update on a clean copy.  I.e. 'svn
st' should show no modifications.  You don't need to initialise the
branch as I have already done this for you.  Don't worry about
svnmerge for now, I'll tell you how to do that a little further along
the line.  Hope this helps.

Regards,

Edward
