Follow-up Comment #3, bug #24962 (project relax):

This issue is already reported upstream at
https://github.com/scipy/scipy/issues/6458 as 'Error in
scipy.integrate.dblquad when using variable integration bounds and parametric
arguments #6458'

Might it be possible to use the approach from
https://github.com/dkriegner/xrayutilities/commit/f707790764b81f0d9aff08bd33a9ebf75e565fd1
to switch the use of dblquad() to nquad() so that no one regresses if scipy
0.18.0 happens to be installed?
