Dear Brendan, Welcome to the relax mailing lists. Minfx was originally an optimisation library that I wrote as part of relax, but was spun out into its own project for the benefit of others. So for the relax 1.3.x versions, you need to download and install this separately. A simple 'python setup.py install' command is all that is necessary, like all the standard Python packages. In the future, minfx will be bundled with the distribution packages available from http://www.nmr-relax.com/download.html so that that won't be necessary, but for now you will need to install it separately. Hi Edward (and others) I just tried installing relax 1.3.5 on a FC11 machine that has ScientificPython and NumPy installed and got the following error message, The dependency 'minfx' has not been installed (see https://gna.org/projects/minfx/). from dep_check.py. Looking through the mailing list it seems that minfx should be bundled with relax, but I can't find it and it seems my python environment can't either. Are there some environment variables I need to set? Or do I need to download and install minfx separately? I also tried installing relax 1.3.4 and got the same problem. Thanks for any help Brendan _______________________________________________ relax (http://nmr-relax.com) This is the relax-users mailing list relax-users@xxxxxxx To unsubscribe from this list, get a password reminder, or change your subscription options, visit the list information page at https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/relax-users
